BUYER QUESTIONS

What needs confirmation?

What is the difference between MDF slats and PET-on-PET slats?

MDF slat panels use a wood-fibre board core for the slats with a separate polyester felt backing. PET-on-PET panels use felt for both the slats and backing. Confirm each layer and finish in the agreed specification.

Which documents should I request for an MDF panel?

Ask for the material specification, surface sample and applicable acoustic, fire and emissions reports for the exact product and intended market. No certification or emissions class is established on this page.

How do flat PET felt panels and PET-on-PET slats differ?

Flat PET felt panels describe a continuous felt surface. The PET-on-PET concept uses felt slats over a felt backing. Wood-veneer or MDF slat structures are different categories; confirm the exact material and construction in your inquiry.

Does sound absorption mean soundproofing?

No. Sound absorption addresses reflected sound within a space. Sound isolation concerns sound transmission between spaces and depends on the complete building assembly. Request evidence for your intended purpose.

Are acoustic performance and fire classifications confirmed?

No. Request the relevant test report for the exact product, thickness and installation assembly. This website does not claim an acoustic rating or fire certification.

Can I request a particular colour, thickness or cut?

Include these requirements in a Custom or Project inquiry. Feasibility, sample availability and commercial terms remain pending confirmation.

Are the accessory references compatible with these panels?

Compatibility is not established. Provide the panel geometry and chosen accessory reference for a specific fit review.
